Design of the new LNE calculable capacitor

A few years ago, the LNE started a project aiming at determining the von Klitzing constant R<inf>K</inf> with a target overall relative uncertainty of 10<sup>−8</sup>. This paper describes the mechanical structure of the new Thompson -Lampard capacitor designed for this task.
