LNG 혼소시스템이 적용된 디젤 엔진 및 차량주행 특성

We develop Dual Fuel natural gas engine control system and controller for heavy-duty vehicle which is going to apply to heavy-duty diesel vehicles. Test engine was set up for investigating power output, emission. ND 13-mode tests were performed for the test cycle. The emission result of dual fuel meets K-2006 regulation and the diesel equivalent engine performance output condition. To emission reduction, intake air control system were applied to dual-fuel system. In use 25ton trailers with HYUNDAI POWERTEC D6CB was converted to dual fuel system. To estimate economical efficiency, test vehicles have been operated on a certain driving route repeatedly. Test total vehicle weight is about 40ton and fuel economy, driving distance per refueling and driveability are examined in the field test including free way. Developed vehicle can be operated over 18,100㎞ with dual fuel and shows 80% of diesel substitution ratio.
