The study aimed at identifying the set of criteria for bookstore websites development, ranking the importance of the criteria and presenting a data mining approach for identifying the important criteria. Five bookstore websites were evaluated by postgraduate students, undergraduate students and academic staff of the university. A questionnaire was designed to collect data. Descriptive analysis and data mining techniques were used for analysis. The criteria ranked from most important to least important were clarity, objectivity, content, currency, responsibility, navigation, author, accuracy, design and stability, coverage, accessibility, purpose, and reliability.
