An implementation of anonymous authentication system for Web services using proxies

This paper shows an implementation of the anonymous authentication system for Web services. This system uses privacy-enhancing digital signatures, called group signatures, which allow the user to be anonymously authenticated. Since the adopted group signature scheme utilizes novel cryptographic algorithms, the simple introduction of the authentication to the Web browsers and servers needs modifications of them. Thus, we use proxies in our implementation to avoid the modifications. We show that the authentication time is practical by the experiments.
