Extraction of Evoked Potential and its Applications in Biomedical Engineering

In this paper the evoked potential is used as a tool in quantifying the performance of various analgesic drugs. Evoked potential of the brain is always embedded in the EEG. To acquire the information about the functions of the brain, evoked potential has to be extracted from EEG signal. An instrumentation system has been developed to extract the evoked potential. This paper also presents techniques for extraction of evoked potential and shows how it can be used in the analysis of analgesic drugs.
