This letter provides a design of 2.4–2.5 GHz/5–6 GHz dualband antenna for IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n applications. The antenna has ultra small planar structure and dimension is 25 × 10 × 1 mm3. For verifying the proposed design, the prototype antenna was fabricated and measured. The measured data indicate that the design is successful and applicable. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
