Imaging the tumour uptake of radiolabelled antibodies.

The recent letter by Ott et al (1984) discussed further some of the limitations that they have considered whilst imaging patients with radiolabelled anti-tumour antibodies. In particular it was postulated that positive areas after blood pool subtraction at low target-to-non-target (T: NT) ratios could be due to differences in the physiological diffusion of antibody and the blood pool radiopharmaceutical.
