Study on key factor and technology for detecting ballistic target in sky wave over-the-horizon radar

According to the surveillance of the power phase of the ballistic missile,some countries mostly depend on the space-based early-warning system,but this kind of system is expensive and its construction period is longer and its maintenance is inconvenient.To solve this problem,the existing over-the-horizon-radar can be utilized as scouting the power phase of the ballistic missile.Based on the high-frequency radar characteristics of the power phase of the ballistic missile and its effect on target detection,the key factors on antenna polarization choice,frequency choice and wake flame echo agglomeration are presented,and some pivotal technical approaches and resolve schemes on the information disposal are discussed in detail.At the end of this paper,some conclusions are given.
