Abstract This paper reports the results of a national survey covering principal features of the compensation of neuropsychologists. Some 646 members from the Division of Clinical Neuropsychology of the American Psychological Association responded. They averaged nine years in post-doctoral experience, practiced principally in salaried positions as primary employment, worked at neuropsychological tasks 70% of their time, and earned a median salary of $ 59,500 (US). A number of other parameters of work, experience, and satisfaction were analyzed in a correlational fashion. The results appear to reflect the unique role of neuropsychology service-providers in a number of environments.
