Use of Artificial Intelligence in Automation of Rock Cutting by Mining Machines

The results are presented for simulating the random-process prediction in rock cutting by means of fuzzy adaptive system developed in the form of the Takagi-Sugeno-Kang fuzzy neural net. The force of limestone cutting by the tool Rapid 83 is considered as an example of this process.
