The Effects of Streaming on Secondary School Students' Achievements in Additional Mathematics

Abstract This study examinedthe effects of streaming on secondary school students’ achievements and learning outcomes in additional mathematics. The sample comprises of 365 Year 10 students in a co-educational government secondary school in Brunei. These students sat for theBrunei Cambridge General Certificate of Examination (GCE) Ordinary Level examination and they were the first batch in the school to have undergone the streaming process.
