Abstract With the intention of reflecting the fuzzy characteristic of a person's brain for recognition and judgement in a human system [1, 2], a double model based on fuzzy synthetic decision [2] and multicriteria decision [3, 4] is presented in this paper. The model has been used successfully to make a quantitative evaluation of the teaching quality of some courses in the author's university. This paper gives some amendments to the fuzzy operator used in references [3, 4]; for instance, the formula D = (Minj = 1,…,J dj(m, l)) is changed into D = (⊗j = 1J dj(m, l)). In this way, losing too much information will be avoided and the model of fuzzy multicriteria decision comes nearer to the perfect.
