Numerical Research of Valve Timing on Diesel Engine

In this paper TY3100 diesel engine model is built based on internal combustion engine work process numerical simulation software GT-Power,in which the different timing of intake close,exhaust open and valve overlap were calculated and analyzed at different operation conditions from high speed to low speed.At different engine condition,different optimum results were obtained which can provide theoretic guidance for optimal designs of diesel engines.
