New multi-output switching converter with low drop out post regulator

The DC-DC converter of a Spacecraft is one of the vital components of a satellite, which has a major role in ensuring the complete success of the mission. The new topology with low drop out post regulator is proposed for tight voltage regulation at the high power auxiliary output of the converter, designed for providing supply for the subsystem of the satellite. This paper presents a brief idea about design and implementation of multi-output flyback converter and the post regulator. The input compensator for PWM UC1825, compensation for the post regulator is simulated in MATLAB. The requirements for space applications are taken into consideration while designed and successfully implemented.
