Comparative analysis of computation models for IoT: Distributed fog vs. conventional cloud

The Internet of Things(IoT) empowers a more intelligent connectivity of digital, physical and human sphere by including data transfer and communication abilities through objects, securely building an organized network environment and here, cloud computing takes a vital part in thriving IoT. With the growing number of smart objects with the ongoing evolution rate of IoT, it involves a great issue to be concerned about which is our existing computing models or infrastructures will most likely be unable to deal with the huge measure of data efficiently including those developing number of smart IoT objects. To overcome this matter, a distributed, secure and more efficient infrastructure has been proposed in this paper. Moreover, this paper will mostly be focusing on the comparative analysis with the existing traditional models and infrastructures to provide an overview of the success rate of the designed infrastructure based on Fog computing model to overcome the challenges.
