Functional benchmarking of organisations on the basis of supply chain performance measures

The process of choosing appropriate supply chain (SC) performance measures is difficult due to the complexity of these systems. Most of the organisations measure their internal performance but they are unable to benchmark it. The performance of the organisation can be only improved if the SC performance of the one organisation is compared with the supply chain performance of the other organisations. The paper presents a new method for benchmarking the performance evaluation of three project type of the organisations. The performance of the all these organisations are evaluated by comparing the SC performance measures.
