Folgen von Schädel-Hirn-Traumen in einem neurologischen Krankenkollektiv - Versuch einer Interpretation der posttraumatischen Kopfschmerzen

Sequelae of Head Injuries in Neurological PatienU - Attempt at an Interpratation of Posttraumatic Headache The sequelae of a head injury that had occurred at laast six months previously, were examined in 457 patients. Neurolo gical daficiancies, psychoorganic disturbances and disability caused by the injury correlated positively with its savarity. Posttraumatic epilepsies were diagnosed approximately equal Iy often in petients with minor head injuries and in those with more severe ones. It is probable that epilepsies have been dia gnosed too often in patients with minor head injuries. Hea deche occurs significantly more often in patients with minor head injuries. This cannot be explained by the selection of patients alone. A hypothesis explaining the development of posttraumatic headache is presented and discussed.
