Einscherer-Erkennung mit erweiterter Umgebungserfassung: Eine Machbarkeitsstudie

A very important issue in advanced driver assistance systems is the development of methodologies for situation analysis, -prediction and -assessment, in order to inform and wam the driver or if necessary to take a corrective control action. An early recognition and assessment of the situation can be achieved and adequate information, warning and control strategies can be developed if the behaviour and the intentions of the driver and the drivers of the surrounding vehicles are considered. In this paper, a general scheme for action recognition is applied for the detection cutting-in vehicles in ACC-Systems. Moreover, a concept will be presented that considers uncertainty in driving behaviour as well as uncertainty arising from the inaccuracy of sensor data.
