Remarks on smooth feedback stabilization of nonlinear systems

We investigate the problem of smooth feedback stabilization of nonlinear Systems with (Simply) stable uncontrolled dynamics. Our analysis combines classical concepts from Lyapunov's theory of stability with elementary Lie algebraic techniques. Existing results in the literature are sharpened significantly.
