Acoustic analysis on the Chinese speech anticulation of affricates for hearing-impaired children

In generally, consonants have effect on understanding to language more than vowels in Chinese. Hearing-impaired children acquire some consonants difficultly than health children in the course of their studying speech so that it disturb their forming and developing to language.In order to know why hearing-impaired children acquired affricates diffcultly,this article based on the knowledge of linguistics,through experiment,studied and analyzed the course that hearing-impaired children acquire the affricates by acoustical knowledge and acoustical means.The authors chose 20 hearing-impaired children with hearing aids who were objects of the experiment in the study. The authors tried to find the factors which affect hearing-impaired children's acquiring the affricatives,so that some scientific theories could be provided which should enhance their ability to acquire affricates better and improve their clearness to speech.
