A multi-agent based approach for knowledge transfer in product design contexts

The work presented in this paper is related to the organizational knowledge management. The goal of this work is to allow the reuse of capitalized knowledge, in order to help designers in all phases of product design process. The proposed approach is based on the assistance of professional actors with an automatic and specific alarm using the project memory, eases pull (search) of knowledge by helping individual searches and proposes the specific automatic assistance to the professional actors. This approach is based upon a Knowledge Reuse System (KRS) which takes into account the roles of the professional actors and their collaboration throughout the product design process in order to bring automatic help to the actors.
