Based on modern interior point method,a model of optimal coordination between hydraulic and thermal powers is presented for Guangxi power grid,of which the hydraulic power resource is up to 50 %.The daily dispatch schedule,which was planned manually before,is now described and solved by the model.While the principle of "Sangong Scheduling" and "Energy Conservation Emission Reduction" as well as the operating restraints of hydro-thermal power system are satisfied,the objective function of power generation or purchase cost is optimized to realize energy-saving dispatch.Furthermore,different dispatch data needed by system are integrated to ease the application and enhance the working efficiency.
