고속도로 진입차량의 진입허용시간 ( Gap Acceptance at Highway Interchange )

The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution of gap acceptance at highway interchanges. This study used negative exponential distribution, Erlang distribution with Erlang coefficient 2 and 3 to analyze the distribution of merging vehicles on merging lane. In order to choose proper distribution with minimum difference between estimated and observed merging vehicles, Chi-square(x2) values were computted. Chi-square(x2) value between the estimated number of merging vehicles by Erlang distribution with coefficient 2 and observed one is 29.3520, Erlang distribution with coefficient 3 is 30.7190, and 42.2932 by negative exponentail distribution. Erlang distribution with coefficient 2 is considered the best distribution.
