The aim of this study is to
make a literature review about
foreign bodies present in maxillary
bones and soft tissues of the face,
showing howthey appear and their
consequences. The radiographic
aspects and the main incidences
for their localization is the focus of
our discussion. The conclusion
showed radiographs must be done
in such a way they complement
each other and form right angles,
so that we may have an idea on the
reallocalization ofthe investigated
objects. In most cases, the radio-
graphic image confirms the clinical
examination, but in a great num-
ber of cases the dental radiogra-
phic routine examination is the
one that discovers the foreign bo-
dies that don't have any symptoms.
