Localisation de sources sonores par représentation parcimonieuse

The source localization problem by an acoustical array is considered in this communication. The sources will be correlated or uncorrelated, wideband or narrowband, in nearfield or farfield. The method is based on a sparse representation of microphone measurements with an overcomplete basis composed of time samples from the acoustical array and the source position estimation is obtained by a compromise between a residual error and the sparsity coefficients. Numerical and experimental results in an anechoic room are presented. Our algorithm is compared to traditional algorithms such as beamforming, Capon and MUSIC.
