Prediction of the received power for the UMTS closed loop power control

Due to power control delay, the received power can fluctuate between the instant when it is measured and the instant when the power control command is applied at the transmitter. We propose to predict the received power by taking into account the possible variation of both the transmitter power and path amplitudes.
