A Hybrid Model of Reasoning by Analogy

This chapter describes an attempt to model human analogical reasoning at the level of behavioral constraints (Palmer, 1989) (i.e., the aim is to develop a computational model which will reflect people's observable behavior). In order to be more concrete, I will elaborate on reasoning by analogy only in a problem-solving task, although some of the proposals could still be valid in other kinds of tasks like explanation, argumentation, etc.
