Explicit model predictive control for disturbance rejection and tracking control of boost converter

This paper presents study of a DC-DC boost converters hybrid model based on explicit MPC. By putting a constraints on state variable, optimization problem is designed and computed off-line, which reduces the on-line computation complexity. In simulation results, reference tracking and disturbance rejection to change in load are performed to show the robustness of controller. The advantages of explicit model predictive control strategy, comparative study is carried out with Proportional Integral control.
