Research on Middle-Distance Wireless Power Transmission Systems Based on Electromagnetic Metamaterial

Aiming at the problem of low power supply stability of monitoring sensors in power transmission and transformation engineering, this paper presents a solution that transmitting energy on line from high voltage side to low voltage side using WPT technology. A model of Middle-distance WPT system with four coils is established, and the variation of transmission performance of the system is analyzed with the increase of distance. Adding electromagnetic metamaterials to transmission path is proposed for improving the transmission performance of the system.
