Continuous sheet metal width measurement using image processing methods

This article has focused on the methods suitable for measuring sheet metal width in industry on image processing algorithms basis. Analysis methods in conditions of lighting the sheet metal from the top as well as from the bottom will be described here and we will also mention laser beam analysis method. The focus of this article will be on a segmentation method utilizing GraphCut algorithm.
