Building of Internet of Things Model for Cyber-Physical Manufacturing Metrology Model (CPM3)

Abstract The framework for Cyber-Physical Manufacturing Metrology Model (CPM3), are based on integration of digital product metrology information through metrology features recognition, and generation of global/local inspection plan for CMM. As the identification and compensation for errors of the machine tools could significantly enhance their accuracy and thus improve the quality of parts produced with them, proposed Cyber- Physical Manufacturing Metrology Model (CPM3) includes the error identification and compensation as well. An efficient methodology to calibrate machine tool geometric errors is given herein. This paper will present recent results of our research on building of (Industrial) Internet of Things ((I)IoT) for CPM3, in application layer. The main function of application layer is to integrate the methodologies and functions of the system to achieve IoT-enabled industrial applications.
