Online recognition of handwritten characters using differential angles and structural descriptors

Abstract A new method is described in this paper for online recognition of handwritten character using differential angles and structural descriptors. The classification includes a hybrid matching process combining a dynamic programming (DP) algorithm and a small-scale binary decision tree. Experiments showed successful recognition of handwritten characters.
