The influence of inlet diameter and average hole diameter of one side liquid distributor on the performance of liquid distribution

Taking a trapezoidal distributor with one side inlet as the research object, the effects of the diameter of inlet pipe and distribution hole on the velocity field, pressure field, liquid equalization performance and resistance performance of the distributor were studied. The simulation and analysis results show that the velocity gradient and pressure gradient near the liquid inlet pipe change greatly, and the flow rate of the liquid distribution hole near the liquid inlet pipe will decrease seriously; The results show that the pressure drop of the distributor decreases with the increase of the diameter of the liquid inlet pipe when the diameter of the liquid inlet pipe is in the range of 47mm~110mm; With the decrease of the diameter of the distributing hole, the overall liquid distribution performance of the distributor can be significantly improved, but the overall pressure drop of the distributor will increase. The simulation results show that the diameter of the inlet pipe and the diameter of the distributing hole have a great influence on the performance of the distributor, which can provide an important direction for the optimization design of this type of distributor and is of great significance for engineering application.
