New ConstructionsOn BroadcastEncryptionand Key Pre-Distribution Schemes

This paper presents various new techniques on secure group communication schemes.We presenta new broadcast encryption scheme Arachne, being particularly efficient in multiple revocation, and a node-basedkey pre-distribution scheme,remedying the key overlapping problem of pool-based schemes.Starting with a detailed analysis on broadcastencryption and group key distrib ution schemes,we discussthe influence of join as well as the feasibility of including it in broadcast encryption schemesby means of performing full updating or overprovisioning.
