Special issue - Dedicated to 2(nd) Dubrovnik Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems - Dubrovnik, Croatia - June 15-20, 2003

2002 was the year of the Johannesburg Conference "World Summit on Sustainable Development: 10 Years After Rio". It engaged in the concern of the world community about the realization of the Agenda 21 adapted at Rio de Janeiro at the United Nation Conference on Economic and Environment Development. In a related manner, the 2nd Dubrovnik Conference on the Sustainable Development of Energy, Environment and Water Systems held in 2003, was an overview by the scientific community in the fields of sustainability development. The Conference was aimed at focusing attention to the scientific and technological achievements leading to sustainable development.
