Testing and Evaluation Symposium: Tools, Techniques and Facilities

This symposium is the first sponsored by the newly formed Test and Evaluation Technical Group. The scope of interest was defined by a broad definition statement that included “any formally scheduled tests of personnel performance utilizing mockups, developmental and prototype equipment and software during system development” or follow-up testing. The objective of this Symposium is to draw together people from various employment situations, who are performing testing and evaluation on a daily basis, to discuss the tools, techniques and facilities associated with doing that part of their job. The purpose is to focus on the process of doing the job, rather than on the specific results of testing.
