1인가구를 위한 소형집합주거 공간계획에 나타난 주요특성 및 선호

The purpose of this study is to analyze the planning characteristics of small housing complex for one person household and to research their preferences focused on the one person household by university students. A document research method was used to analyze and classified the spatial characteristics and a questionaire-survey for their preferences. This paper suggests shared housing as an alternative to the housing problems for one person household. Shared housing are economical and efficient housing type that can also guarantee privacy and lower the rent by sharing the space. Nevertheless, the current regulations on single family housing are rather inadequate and only some student housings offer the facilities that meet the standards. This study has a significant meaning on grasping current trend in small single housing and to provide information for future direction on housing-unit design for one-person household.
