Gestational Diabetes Mellitus in Sardinia

The prevalence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) ranges from 1 to 14% of all pregnancies, depending on the population studied and the diagnostic test and its glycemic cutoff, and it mirrors the prevalence of type 2 diabetes (1).
