Research on Using Polar Coordinate Projection Method to Produce Free Surface Milling Tool Path Method

Application of differential geometry tools,calculation of free surface normal vector,principal curvature and extreme value.Due to the free surface with multi axis machining,and shall be considered interference,tool path planning and the cutting line spacing of identifying such problems,so the paper puts forward using the polar coordinate projection method for cutter axis vector and the interference area method,through the cutter contact offset a certain length of vector method,calculates the tool path and cutting line spacing,realize the knife shaft vector smoothing changes,put forward to avoid collision and calculating cutter tool path method.
