Abstract The purpose of this study is to suggest BIM-based Reference Model(RM) for Urban Facility Management(UFM) System development efficiently. The urban facility managements objective is to take the user convenience and safety from checking the facility to maintain its function. Recently, to manage the facilities effectively, the BIM technology is being applied to it. In this study, the research trend related to the UFM system is surveyed and analyzed to develop the BIM-based UFM RM.
