Energy management for induction motors based on nonintrusive efficiency estimation

This paper introduces an industrial plant electricity consumption management on induction motors. The management requires cost reduction on its own installation and maintenance, as well as automatic data transmission and analysis to achieve timely decision making. In contrast to the traditional style of energy management that uses walkthrough audit and offline analysis, the proposed approach employs the nonintrusive efficiency estimation, induction motor flux regulation such as the proposed fuzzy energy optimized control, and wireless sensor networks.
