OFDM sidelobe suppression combining active and null cancellation carriers in the guard bands

This article presents a new method of spectral suppression in OFDM systems, combining active and inactive (null) cancellation carriers in the guard bands. Several possibilities were studied considering up to three active cancellation carriers in each guard band composed of up to seven subcarriers. Simulation results indicate that some configurations perform better than the conventional method.
