Fast color image quantization based on bacterial foraging optimization

Enhance the utilization of color images in the multimedia applications has augmented the inevitably of efficient techniques that can accumulate and transmit visual information without any degradation of colors in the image. The Color images Quantization is utilized for a specific image which is accessible works with fewer colors than the original image. There is several nature inspired optimization technique to find the optimal solution of the problem. In this paper we present a new methodology based on bacteria's called Bacterial Foraging Optimization with an indexed image phase. Experimental result shows that the proposed algorithm in this research paper has superior execution with less time consumption and excellent robustness.
