MODELLING AND SIMULATION OF THE FLOW BEHAVIOUR OF SELF-COMPACTING CONCRETE

The present contribution focusses on numerical studies of the self-compacting concrete flow where different rheological models are implemented into computational fluid dynamics solving algorithms and the obtained results are compared. The results analysis provides conclusions about different ways to model the fresh concrete flow and contributes towards formulating a consistent modelling approach, applicable to SCC independent of the material properties and the casting geometry.
