Knowledge-based monitoring and diagnosis for a flexible assembly system

Since there is no a concentrated computer monitoring system in the imported flexible assembly system, a knowledge-based monitoring and diagnostic system (KBAMD) for the flexible assembly system has been developed. In this paper, the structure of KBAMD is introduced. The online monitoring and knowledge-based error diagnosis system is proposed. The knowledge base and diagnosis inference are considered. The application example of KBAMD is presented.
