Experience with Transmyocardial Laser Revascularization

EXPERIENCE WITH TRANSMYOCARDIAL LASER REVASCU LARlZATl ON I read with interest the report in yourjournal of Dr. Raffa’s experience with transmyocardial laser revascularization (TMR). A subset of his series, included application of this new technology in patients who were potential candidates for coronary bypass grafting (CAB)’. I would like to comment on the latter as well as delineate some further considerations for the perioperative management of these end-st5ge patients.
