The airflow field of the bevel edge wet desulfurization dust catcher, designed by our experimental team,was simulated through the fluent software of the computational fluid dynamics(CFD),where the calculation was based on ke-equation model and SIMPLE algorithm.The simulation showed the turbulent flow was intense at the bevel edges and in the inlet tube,the vortex prolonged the residence time of the airflow,increased the contact opportunity of the phases and decreased or eliminated the existent dead zones.And some experiments were carried out.The experiment results agreed well with simulation,and the relative error was 1%~3%.
