Analysis of a travelling wave integrated slotted array antenna

We describe the analysis of a slotted array antenna that is fed from a travelling wave structure. The antenna consists of an array of slots in the surface of the waveguide. The slots are fed by a travelling wave and the degree of slot coupling can be chosen by the slot and coupling-hole dimensions. We obtain expressions for calculating this coupling and the radiation from the array. The analysis is based on a variational and Green's function representation. We give results to show the approach used agrees with a standard computer package, which takes longer to compute.
