Question Interpretation in QA@L2F

The Question Interpretation module of [email protected]2F, the question-answering system from L2F/INESC-ID, is thoroughly described in this paper, as well as the frame formalism it employs. Moreover, the anaphora resolution process introduced this year, based on frames manipulation, is detailed. The overall results [email protected]2F achieved at the CLEF competition and a brief overview on the system's evolution throughout the 2 years of joint evaluation are presented. The results of an evaluation to the QI module alone are also detailed here.
