Rapid Cloud Data Processing with Healthcare Information Protection

The demand for electronic medical data sharing is increasing due to treatment delays and increased medication costs caused by data disorganization between healthcare providers. The integration of computer technology has met these challenges and revolutionized healthcare. Through cloud computing, data accessing from multiple locations has become easier. However, concerns about the protection of such private medical data have arisen as involuntary disclosure of this information can affect a patients personal life. Although considerable research has been done to solve this problem using a cloud brokerage system, numerous risks regarding this privacy violation problem remain. This paper aims to provide a security model for cloud data to facilitate the exchange of medical records with various institutes without privacy concerns. We demonstrate via experiment that our method yields greater performance than the existing technique.
